Why KasaTool exists
Home information is scattered everywhere.
Property details live in an old email. Maintenance gets forgotten until something breaks. A repair estimate feels like a guess. And describing a project to find help often means your name and number get sold to companies you never chose to contact.
On the other side
Pros deserve better than shared leads.
Home-service businesses often pay for the same low-quality, shared opportunity as five competitors—with no real profile, no verification signal, and no system to manage what comes next. KasaTool gives Pros a real public presence and a working dashboard instead.
Where this started
A founder story, not a pitch.
KasaTool started from a familiar frustration: submitting information through an online lead form for a home project, and then getting repeated calls and messages from companies for weeks afterward—most of them nothing to do with the original question.
Later, seeing the same pattern from the other side—as a business and in insurance—made it clear this wasn't a one-off annoyance. It's how most of the industry is built: your information becomes the product the moment you submit a form.
KasaTool is built around a different idea: you should be able to explore your options and decide when—and with whom—to share more. That belief shows up directly in how Find a Pro and Get Bids work today, not just as a stated value.
Why we started in DFW
One real market, built properly.
Rather than launch everywhere at once with a thin, unproven product, we're intentionally concentrating early homeowner and Pro growth in Dallas–Fort Worth first. It's where our matching, verification, and local Pro coverage are strongest today—and where we can learn fastest with real usage before expanding.
The bigger vision
DFW is the first market, not the ceiling.
KasaTool is designed to grow well beyond Dallas–Fort Worth. Homeowners and Pros outside DFW can already join where supported, and every part of the product—from property records to Pro verification—is built to work in any market, not just this first one.
