What we review
Business identity, the trades and service area a Pro claims, and any license or insurance documents they submit.
Trust, kept honest
Trust only means something if it's specific. Here's exactly what we check, what a badge means, and where the limits are.
Homeowner privacy
On most lead-generation sites, describing a project means your name, phone number, and email get sold to multiple companies before you've decided anything. KasaTool works differently: you can describe the work, review recommended Pros, and compare paths forward while your personal contact details stay private. You choose when—and whether—to connect with a specific business.
Pro verification
Every Pro business goes through a credential and status review before it can appear in Find a Pro, Get Bids, or our Pro directory. Reviews are done by real people, not a self-declared checkbox.
Business identity, the trades and service area a Pro claims, and any license or insurance documents they submit.
A verified badge means the business passed our credential and status review—it is never a paid placement and never purchasable.
Verification is not a guarantee of workmanship quality, a background check, or a promise that a specific job will go well. It reflects the review, nothing more.
Verification status is enforced on the backend everywhere it matters—not just hidden in the interface. A business that hasn't completed review cannot appear in Find a Pro, Get Bids, or Pro directory search, regardless of what a page might otherwise show.
AI transparency
KasaTool's AI project analysis gives you a starting point—a likely scope, a preliminary cost range, and guidance—based on the photos and details you provide. It is always labeled preliminary and is structurally separate from a real contractor bid. A Pro's actual bid can differ once they've seen the job in person.
A preliminary estimate reflects what the AI can see from your description and photos. It is never presented as a firm quote, and it never replaces a real bid from a Pro who has reviewed the actual job.
Data privacy
KasaTool's full Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and legal disclosures cover how your data is collected, used, and protected in detail. They live in the product itself so they always reflect the current, real behavior of the app.
Reporting & moderation
Discover posts and comments can be reported or blocked directly from the post itself, and reported content is reviewed by our team, not left to an automated system alone. Messaging between homeowners and Pros can also be flagged for review. Business verification, license and insurance documents, and reported content all go through real staff review—not an automated approval with no human check.
Advertising
Any sponsored content on KasaTool is clearly labeled as sponsored. Paid placement has no effect on who appears in Find a Pro, Get Bids, or Pro directory search results—those are driven entirely by verification status, service area, and matching criteria, never by payment.
